Webster, Foster & Weston has been involved in many sewer rehabilitation projects, from sewer separation to rehabilitation after a flood. We have a method-like-approach when it comes to these rehabilitation projects. Starting with cleaning and televising all the pieces to determine the condition of the sewers, recommending necessary repairs and overseeing the construction. We have developed a detailed system that is highly effective. We are constantly reviewing new technologies to make it easier to repair both sanitary and storm sewer systems with little or no impact to the residents of the community.
Webster, Foster & Weston has also been using the “Floating Casting” on all manhole and inlet castings. We have found a way to almost eliminate frost damage for castings placed in concrete. This has reduced the amount of yearly maintenance a city has to do, by reducing the amount of castings that need to be replaced and the amount of patching that usually has to be done to maintain them until they can be replaced.
